Our third roundtable and our most impactful yet ![]()
Last night marked a highlight of the year as we shared the latest qualitative and quantitative insights from our Hospital to Home programme — now active across 5 Health Boards in Scotland, and soon expanding into a 6th.
We were honoured to be joined by Jenni Minto. MSP, MNPI members, Voluntary Health Scotland, Napier and Midwifery Directors from the Health Boards we support. Paul McLennan hosted the evening and spoke passionately about what the charity means to him and his desire to support us. The evening was enriched by the voices of two researchers and our own PhD-led study on second-trimester loss.
Kate Grubb, mum to beautiful Maisy, spoke about her little girl and the tragedy of losing her when just 4 years old. She recalled being handed a bundle of leaflets — unopened until she brought them with her last night. There was no support after she left the hospital and it was only through a family member, who knew us, that she found our support. Her powerful words reminded us why this early intervention matters: “you were my lifeline.” ![]()
Our mission is clear:
Ensure equitable access – Every family, no matter where they live, deserves access to Hospital to Home.
Family wellbeing – Every family deserves timely, flexible psychosocial support as a basic right, not a privilege.
Evidence-based impact – Our scalable approach relieves NHS pressures, reduces costs, provides early support and prevents long-term trauma.
Secure future impact – Supporting families now strengthens the economy, protects surviving children’s wellbeing, and improves outcomes for future generations.
We are ready to grow and we know how to scale. We are more committed than ever to make sure no family navigates pregnancy, baby or infant loss alone ![]()
