Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2024

25th and 26th May 2024

 

Come join a fantastic festival for all the family – distances to suit everyone from 1k up to a marathon.

This is the event not to be missed. Your distance your run your fun.

From running round Arthur Seat to a spectacular finish in Musselburgh. This is truly a very special weekend for everyone.

Why not be part of Super Sunday and get three friends together for the relay team.

Four times the fun. Each leg is a dfferent distance so choose your distannce and get out and train togther.

Come and run the biggest and best half marathon in the world.

KiltWalk 2024 Dates TBC

                               

Be a Kilt Walk hero for us and walk for us in the Kilt walk. Choose from – The Mighty Stride, The Big Stroll or The Wee Wander. Every distance brings together walkers of all abilities to fundraise and have fun. Every penny raised comes straight to Held In Our Hearts so along with gift aid you raise 125% for our famillies.

Scottish 10k

Sunday 18th August 2024

Run the fastest and flattest 10k in Scotland!

Running along a stunning coastline and finishing at Musselburgh Racecourse to an outstanding applause and cheers from the crowd.

Flat and fun you have the best chance to high five your friends on the way round. The halfway point you can see the marshalls there to cheer you round and as you head back and reflect of this incredible acheivement. if it is your first time running a 10k this is truly an outstanding one for your first one.

Loch Ness 24

The Loch Ness 24 is an epic 24hr solo or team relay trail running race on the banks of the world’s most famous Loch. Take on the ultimate endurance challenge and clock up as many 7km laps as you can along the most spectacular trails through ancient Scots pine forest and along the beaches of Loch Ness. Take a break anytime you need, soak up the camaraderie at the event village and camp out under the stars in the most iconic location.

The scenery along  Loch Ness is truly beautiful and every changing meaning the miles just melt away as you run. As you come back into Inverness and cross the bridge to the finish line, the crowd really do carry you along in the last two miles by giving you a Highland Hero welcome home. This really is a marathon not to be missed.

FireWalk

Dare to be different and brave our FireWalk this autumn! This very popular event is a must do for all of the daredevils. You will sit through a 45 minute training session on the science of firewalking and then you’ll walk over hot coals and support our families.

This unmissable event wraps up our year and we would you love you to be part of our very special end of year activity.

Edinburgh Men's 10k

This amazing race takes you through the heart of the city and ends with a hero’s finish at Murrayfield Stadium.

Coming into  the heart of the city you are running through some of the most iconic cobbled streets.

Lace up and make a difference by running through a part of history.

Feel on top of the world !!

Taking place at the iconic Falkirk Wheel, abseil 100ft off the world’s first, and only, rotating boat lift, enjoying spectacular views from the top of the wheel and an adrenaline rush as you abseil down.

This really is an event not to be missed and one that means the whole family can come watch.
