This is a challenge for the adventurous! Choose between the 26.2-mile Marathon or the 20-mile race that offers breathtaking coastal views. A brand-new experience for Held In Our Hearts supporters! An abseil off the tallest whisky distillery in the world!

This is the perfect challenge for families and teams! Who will you dare to join you?

This is the first time this event has ever been done by anyone! This is a truly unique experience for you to ascend the 100ft drop off the Port of Leith Distillery. And, what a view you’ll have, with views across Edinburgh’s skyline and of the historic Royal Yacht Britannia beside you! Standing proudly on the waterfront, the Port of Leith Distillery is the UK’s first vertical distillery, a striking nine-storey tower wedged into Edinburgh’s historic harbour.

Restrictions: Participants must be 11 years old and over and weigh under 120kg.

Set in the beautiful Croy village, this 10k race takes you on a scenic route through the heart of the area. Starting at the village hall, the route passes Pure Bakery Highland (the race sponsor!) and takes you through picturesque countryside, with the finish line back at the bakery. This is a fun and local event for those looking to enjoy a relaxed yet challenging race.

The Scottish Half Marathon is a flat, fast 13.1 mile race for PB-chasers, first-timers, and everyone in between.

Starting just outside Edinburgh, you will run along the magnificent East Lothian Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse.

Charity places are available with a minimum sponsorship of £250.

The Loch Ness Marathon is one of Scotland’s most iconic races. Starting in an atmospheric moorland setting, you’ll run along the stunning southeastern shores of Loch Ness, with unforgettable views of the surrounding Highland landscape. If the full marathon isn’t your thing, there’s also the 10k, 5k, or the Wee Nessie fun run for the little ones. No matter your distance, this event offers something for everyone, with a stunning backdrop that’s hard to beat.

Location: The Helix, Falkirk FK2 7ZT

The Kelpies Experience involves climbing 25 meters to the mouth of the Kelpies using a series of seven ladders, cables crossing, suspended platforms, nets and aerial course features before descending back down to ground level either by abseil or a quick flight device (an automatic rope based descending device that provides an initial ‘free fall’ experience before lowering to the ground). The Kelpies Experience is mentally and physically challenging with high levels of height exposure, a requirement to climb ladders, crawl, crouch and walk across uneven and sloped terrain.

Cost: £30 and participants pledge to fundraise a minimum of £250 per person.
