Memorial book of pregnancy & loss; First Minister, Humza Yousaf visit to Edinburgh office.

Two years ago today the Memorial Book of Pregnancy and Baby Loss Prior to 24 Weeks was launched by the then First Minister, Humza Yousaf, at our Edinburgh Head Office.

We were privileged to have been involved in the development process and included in the launch as it marked an important day for so many families who had experienced the death of their baby or loss of a pregnancy prior to 24 weeks.

Although there is no legal requirement for you to record your loss the creation of the Memorial Book of Pregnancy and Baby Loss Prior to 24 weeks has marked a significant milestone in recognising that all loss matters.

Perhaps you have already completed the application to have your baby or babies included, or maybe you’re still thinking about it. There is no rush and what feels right for one person may not feel right for another.

If you would like more information on the registration process, please let us know. We have heard from some families that it can feel quite emotional to complete the application from. Please know we’re here to help and do get in touch if you’d like help getting started.

We know they are loved, remembered and touched our lives for eternity x
