We wanted to take a moment to say a very special thank you to all of our incredible Parent Speakers.
Over the last year, we have attended over 23 training sessions and events alongside a Parent Speaker, who has generously given their time to talk openly about their baby or child, their experience of bereavement and the care they received. These amazing individuals have told their stories to over 460 attendees.
Our Parent Speakers are all at least a year bereaved and have chosen to share their stories with us, helping NHS teams and our other partners understand the experiences of families following the loss of a baby or child.
Sharing your story takes enormous courage. We never take for granted the trust placed in us when a parent chooses to talk about their baby or child, and we are so grateful for the time, honesty and compassion our Parent Speakers bring to every conversation.
To every parent who has shared their baby or child with us, helped us deliver training, spoken with our partners or helped others understand the reality of baby and child loss — thank you.
Your voices matter. Your babies and children matter. And the difference you make in helping us improve support for bereaved families is immeasurable.
With love and thanks to all of our Parent Speakers.
