EMF – our running heroes

They say a picture paints a thousand words and we couldn’t agree more. This picture is of two of our amazing and inspiring runners at the weekend, Sharon and Nicky, crossing the marathon finish line at Musselburgh. The beautiful blue balloons were in memory of their precious baby boys Dale and Ramsay. Nicky and Sharon were part of an incredible 204 strong team of runners and at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival this weekend. We had so many people supporting us, including many families, friends and a huge team of 134 midwives from the Simpsons Maternity Unit. We are so grateful to everyone that ran for us, as well as cheered our runners on. Also a huge thank you to our corporate sponsors for providing wonderful goodies for our marathon runners on the Sunday – Aegon, the Principal Hotel Company, Starbucks and Nuffield Health.The final total raised will be announced soon! #TeamSANDSLothians #communityheroes #localgreats
