Fraser Baxter ran the journey from the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh to his home in Bathgate in memory of his precious daughter Jenna on Saturday 14th October. The route was ‘Jenna’s Journey Home’, the one she never got to make, as she sadly died at a day old. He was joined by lots of family, friends and some of #teamsandslothians including Sharon Louise and Paul Brown who ran the whole journey with Fraser.
This was the longest distance that Fraser has ever run, at 22 miles, so a huge achievement to complete. The family have raised an amazing £11,000 in under a year, which in turn will help so many other bereaved parents. It really is incredible people doing incredible things in memory of a very special little girl.
Our thoughts are with Fraser and the family as they approach Jenna’s first heavenly Birthday and Anniversary this week. She would be so proud of you all today. Her legacy lives on through your love and all you are doing to raise awareness and break the silence about baby loss
