We wanted to give our most grateful thanks to all the incredible staff at Aegon UK who choose us as one of their charity partners in 2018. Nicola and Angie had the privilege of attending a lunch presentation, where they received a cheque for a fabulous?£19,779?The picture featured is our team in the Photo Gallery of the Edinburgh Evening News this week, with the representatives from the other brilliant charities Strathcarron Hospice and Alzheimer Scotland who also received ch…eques on the day. One further amazing local charity Michelle Henderson Cervical Cancer Trust received a cheque on a different day.
We truly can’t thank the staff at AEGON enough for their hugely inspiring fundraising, raising such amazing amounts of money that will transform the lives of so many people. The staff spent the year doing all sorts of activities and events to raise funds, including bake sales, a quiz night, dress down Fridays, lots of sports and sponsored events, sweepstakes, as well as a wonderful Christmas Craft Fair, all ably organised by a dedicated Charity Committee, who do all of the charity work over and above their day job.
Support like theirs really makes the world of difference to us and helps ensure we can continue to be there today and in the future supporting bereaved parents. Huge thanks to everyone involved, those that nominated, voted for us and all the staff, friends and family who took part and donated through the many charity activities in the year xx
