Sometimes there isn’t a rainbow after the storm

We understand that everyone’s journey and story is different. For many families another baby does not always follow for different reasons. Some families may not fall pregnant again, are physically unable to carry another baby or for some the journey just too anxious or painful.
We have a number of parents attending Befriending training next month and one bereaved parent finds herself in this position and would like to explore supporting other parents who find themselves on this journey. I hope this gives a little comfort to families and further enhances and expands the bespoke and person centred services we provide when a baby dies

“And some people will muddle through the storm and the rain and the sun the best they can, never seeing that beam of colour across the sky; never receiving that beam of hope. And I think that needs to be okay with people, too.”
